PTA stands for Parent-Teacher Association. We're a volunteer organization that brings together parents, teachers, and community members to support our students and school.

Everyone! We welcome parents, grandparents, teachers, staff, community members, and local businesses. You don't need to have a child at Tomahawk to join and support our school.

Membership dues are $15 per individual or $30 per family for the school year. These dues help fund PTA programs and events. Visit our Membership page to join!

Absolutely! There are many ways to support PTA: Make a donation, shop using Box Tops, attend Food Nights, share our social media posts, or simply join as a member. Every little bit helps!

You can volunteer at many events without being a member, but we encourage membership to support our programs and have voting rights at meetings.

We host many events including Tiger Trot (fun run), Carnival, Trunk or Treat, Science Night, Book Fairs, Trivia Night (adults only), and many more! Check our Calendar page for dates.

You can donate through your Givebacks account, or contact our Executive Board for cash/check donations. All donations are tax-deductible.

Box Tops for Education is an easy way to earn money for our school! Download the Box Tops app, scan your grocery receipts, and our school automatically earns cash from participating products.

They are held at Tomahawk Elementary School, which  is located at 6301 W. 78th Street, Overland Park, KS 66204.
