Why Join PTA?
I'm too busy. It sounds like a LOT of work. PTA's only for those moms. I don't know anyone on PTA. I don't know how to do this stuff.
We could have endless reasons not to get involved. Life is FULL, but time spent supporting your kids, their peers, their education team and community is a priceless, long-term and rewarding commitment. Numerous studies show the benefits of being involved in your child's education, and parent-family-community involvement drastically reduces drop out rates and improves academic achievement. We welcome not just parents, but grandparents, community members and local businesses who want to give back, too! Our ability to support our school strengthens through diversity and growth.
What does PTA do?
Besides organizing enriching experiences through field trips or visiting programs, our goal is to build a community that supports your family through their years at Tomahawk, to high school and beyond. We need your voice to keep our events meaningful to you and our community.
