PTA depends on volunteer help.
We understand Tomahawk families are busy running to activities, carving out time to spend together, and just keeping up with life. Any time you can dedicate toward volunteering is valued and appreciated. Don’t stress if you don’t have a moment to spare. There are numerous ways to get involved. Take a moment to explore volunteer positions that will allow you to help without sacrificing your family’s needs.
Each classroom has two room parents who work closely to support the teacher and students. We celebrate three parties throughout the year. Room parents and party helpers are so important for a fun, successful year.
Daytime classroom and field trip volunteers must complete MVP training with the school district every 5 years. There are multiple dates scheduled throughout the year in the school district. Follow this link for more information and scheduling. The school social worker will also schedule training for smaller groups at the school.
Share your time by chairing an existing event committee or introducing something new. Below are a few events already scheduled this year needing help.
